Tips to Maintain Mental Health

With summer in full swing now is a perfect time to start working towards maintaining your mental health. With traveling, kids out of school, and new routines sometimes your mental health can get away from you. By focusing on a few different areas you can maintain your overall mental health.

 

1: Meditate – take a few minutes each day to practice deep breathing or a mindfulness activity.

2: Explore your creativity – this can include drawing, coloring, crafting, cooking, or baking.

3: Exercise regularly – be sure to get at least 30 minutes of exercise daily. You can go for a walk, run, lift weights, yoga, or swim!

4: Limit social media – spend less time checking social media and more time being present in the moment!
